LifeGroups
What is it about?
Because for us, Christianity isn’t just about going to church on Sundays, we also want to build a community of people who share their lives with one another and help each other both practically and spiritually. That’s why, at Metro, people meet throughout the week in so-called Lifegroups (of 10–15 people).
Especially in today’s world of anonymity and dysfunctional relationships, we strive to create a community of healthy relationships that reflect the Christian faith in everyday life, and to offer friendship and a place to belong to people who lack a sense of community.
Several Lifegroups meet at Metro during the week. Each group is a little different, and different people attend each one. Group meetings usually involve a discussion of the Sunday sermon or another prearranged activity.
All Lifegroups meet at Polská 29, Olomouc, where we have our premises.
Monday and Thursday Lifegroup start at 5 pm,
Union usually starts at 7 pm on Tuesdays and Wednesdays
Wednesday Lifegroup starts at 4:30 pm
You can join the Lifegroups without any restrictions—they’re open activities, so you don’t need to sign up with anyone in advance ☺
