Metro Church Olomouc
Church is more than just a building or a service. It’s predominantly about people. We aim to be an open, comprehensible church – to Christians, seekers, non-believers or of other beliefs. We are English-friendly – most of our gatherings are translated, i.e. Sunday meetings, communities, etc. Experience Metro – a different kind of church.
Communities
Unlike traditional churches we decided to focus on communities – smaller groups of 10-15 people knowing each other thoroughly, sharing life together, and helping each other in their ups and downs. Through communities we develop the aspect of family within the church.
Union
Metro Union is more than just student meetings. It’s a family where one can belong, develop their skills, and serve others. We encourage each other in developing our relationship with God while being open to anyone willing to know more about God, Jesus or the Bible.
Sunday Meetings
Sunday meetings are contemporary, comprehensible services including worship songs, teaching, small refreshments and an opportunity to catch up with friends. Kids’ program and translation to English are available.
Communitites meet throughout the week – on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays in the afternoon at the Metro office at Polska 29. Tuesday gatherings are part of the Metro Union ministry. Every Thursday morning moms meet at Polska 29 together with their children aged from infants to preschoolers.
Union meets every week – every 2nd Tuesday in the evening at larger meetings at BEA Campus at Kosmonautu 1, in the other Tuesdays as a Union community at the Metro office at Polska 29.
We gather every Sunday in the afternoon – every 2nd week at Sunday service at BEA Campus at Kosmonautu 1, in the other weeks we pray together at the Metro office at Polska 29.
